After 2 months of record breaking response from audiences around the world, market waste compost program ‘NOTHING WASTED’ Danamon Go Green has been officially announced as 1st Runner Up in the BBC World Challenge 2009, and is the sole finalist representing Indonesia. World Challenge is a global competition rewarding grass roots projects who gives back to their communities. It is run by BBC World News, the BBC’s international news channel, and Newsweek, the weekly global current affairs magazine, in association with Shell.

On August 28. 2008 Danamon Peduli was being awarded as one of the five winners at IAMI CSR Award (ICRA) 2008 for "Best CSR Implementation" category. All five ICRA 2008 winners are furthermore nominated to compete at Asian CSR Award on November 2008.

The latest achievement of Danamon Peduli in 2008 was becoming the winner of Metro TV-MDGs Award 2008 under "Extreme Poverty and Hunger Eradication", the same category which Danamon Peduli was nominated in 2004. Danamon Peduli won this award for its innovative and impactful "Danamon Go Green" program. Through "Danamon Go Green". Danamon Peduli has been recognized as a professionally and transparently run foundation, and chosen to represent Indonesia in Worldwide Initiatives for Grant making Support Forum 2006. Previously in 2004, Danamon Peduli won Indonesia Sustainability Award for “Best Social Reporting” category. Moreover, Danamon Peduli was being nominated in the category “Poverty Eradication” at the 2007 MDG’s Award conducted by UNDP in cooperation with Metro TV.
