Danamon Peduli started its activities in 2001. Starting in 2004, its programs have focused on activities which are community driven, sustainable, involving volunteers. Until 2007, Danamon Peduli conducted 1.500 activities, involving around 10.000 volunteers, touching over 500,000 beneficiaries.

Purbalingga “Dreams come true”, is what Danamon Peduli Foundation has done to Purbalingga Regency, giving us a solution that we really needed. Danamon Peduli’s composting unit solves waste problem directly at the source, so we will not have to send the waste to the Final Dumping Site. Waste that previously has been regarded as a major traditional market’s problem, now, can be transformed into organic fertilizer that will help us developing organic farming in our area. This program is in line with our vision in building traditional market managed in a modern way. We will ensure that the unit to be developed continuously by providing annual budget for local organic fertilizer improvement effort. Afterwards, the organic fertilizer will be distributed for free to the farmer groups whose rice fields experiencing soil fertility degradation. |

Tanjung Balai, Batam Alhamdulilah ….. We are not expecting that Danamon will donate us fogging machine. This is the equipment that we have been waiting since dengue fever infected our community. We already send a request to Department of Health to fogged our village, however, we never receive positive answer from them. Once again, we are thankful to Danamon for making our dream comes true. |
